2024 Presidential Preference Primary and Uniform Municipal Elections
Election Day is March 19, 2024

PALM BEACH COUNTY, FL (February 14, 2024) – The Presidential Preference Primary (PPP) and Uniform Municipal Elections will be held on March 19, 2024. This year, only the Republican Party is holding a Presidential Preference Primary Election, and 22 of Palm Beach County’s 39 municipalities will hold municipal-wide elections. Polls are open on Election Day, Tuesday, March 19, 2024, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. 

In addition to voting on Election Day, voters can also vote during Early Voting or Vote by Mail. More information about these ways to vote is available below.

Because Florida is a closed primary state, only voters registered in the Republican Party can vote in the Republican PPP. All voters living within the following participating municipalities are eligible to vote in their municipal-wide election. The deadline to register to vote and/or change party affiliation is Tuesday, February 20, 2024. The following municipalities will have municipality-wide elections on March 19, 2024:

2.    Boca Raton, City of
3.    Delray Beach, City of
4.    Greenacres, City of
5.    Highland Beach, Town of
6.    Hypoluxo, Town of
7.    Juno Beach, Town of
8.    Jupiter Inlet Colony, Town of
9.    Lake Park, Town of
10.  Lake Worth Beach, City of
11.  Lantana, Town of
12.  Loxahatchee Groves, Town of    
13.  North Palm Beach, Village of
14.  Ocean Ridge, Town of
15.  Pahokee, City of
16.  Palm Beach, Town of
17.  Riviera Beach, City of
18.  Royal Palm Beach, Village of
19.  South Bay, City of
20.  Tequesta, Village of
21.  Wellington, Village of
22.  West Palm Beach, City of

The following municipalities will have annexation questions for voters in certain unincorporated areas of Palm Beach County on March 19, 2024: 

1.    North Palm Beach
2.    Palm Beach Gardens
3.    Wellington    

Early Voting: Eligible voters can vote early at any of the 23 early voting locations from March 9th through March 17th from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Early voting locations, wait times, and appointments are available on our website: Early Voting (www.VotePalmBeach.gov). 

Vote-by-Mail: The deadline to request that a Vote-by-Mail ballot be mailed to you is 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7th. Requests can be made online at Vote By Mail (www.VotePalmBeach.gov), by calling (561) 656-6208, or in person at any of our four offices. Vote-by-Mail ballot pickup is not available from March 9th through March 19th unless, due to an emergency, the voter is unable to go to a designated early voting site or to his or her assigned polling place on Election Day (See F.S. §101.62(3)(d)(5)). 

Voters who are already registered are encouraged to verify and, if needed, update their voter registration. Voters who are not registered to vote or who wish to change their party affiliation must do so by February 20, 2024. This can be done:

 
•    Online at RegistertoVoteFlorida.gov. Have your FL Driver License or ID handy!
•    In person at any of our four offices Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., or other voter registration agencies.
•    By mail. Forms are available in person at any of our offices or online at www.VotePalmBeach.gov. Mailed forms must be complete and postmarked by February 20, 2024. 

Voters can view their sample ballot, polling location, and track the status of their Vote-by-Mail ballot on the “My Status” page at www.VotePalmBeach.gov.

Important Dates and Information for the 2024 PPP and Uniform Municipal Elections:


•    Election Day is Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
•    Only voters registered in the Republican Party are eligible to vote in the PPP.
•    The deadline for registering to vote and/or changing party affiliation is February 20, 2024.
•    Early Voting is available from March 9, 2024 through March 17, 2024, at any participating Early Voting location.
•    The deadline to request a Vote-by-Mail ballot is 5:00 p.m. March 7, 2024.
